Buying a wedding dress is a monumental moment for any bride. It’s usually a moment imagined surrounded by loved ones and uttering that magical sentence coined by a certain TLC show.
These three women entrepreneurs are making sure Detroit brides have every dream come true.

A community meeting will be held on August 9 for residents in and around Lafayette Park to discuss the City’s community benefits ordinance regarding development in the area.
The meeting is hosted by the City of Detroit’s Planning and Development Department for more information on the Shapero Hall site. Per plans from developer Armin Irving, the old Shapero Hall will be torn down and replaced with Lafayette West, a new residential high-rise.
A community meeting will be held on July 10 for residents in and around Lafayette Park to discuss improvements to the area.
The meeting is hosted by the City of Detroit’s Planning and Development Department and will gather resident feedback on Lafayette West, a proposed development on the site of the old Shapero Hall.
The meeting will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Horatio Williams Foundation at 1010 Antietam St.
