“Due to the dedication, compassion, and determination of its residents, District 7 is making progress and has created a level of collaboration that will sustain the community for generations to come.” - Councilman Gabe Leland

WE ARE PLYMOUTH-HUBBELL

While most neighborhoods have a good mix of housing stock that vary in age, Plymouth-Hubbell on the west side stands out because nearly 90 percent of the real estate was built from 1940 to 1969, a busy time for home construction in America when soldiers were coming back home from World War II. Walk through the neighborhood and you’ll feel as if you are transported to that period of American life, a slice of Americana in Detroit.
